Bleeding gums

Bleeding gums are the first sign of gum disease, which can lead to tooth loss if left untreated.

If you notice your gums bleed when you brush or floss, you need to seek dental advice. Bleeding gums are often linked to the presence of plaque and tartar on your teeth.

There are a number of procedures that can be carried out to improve your gum health, remove the plaque and tartar and make your teeth feel smooth and clean again.

Prevention is always better than cure so we take great care to educate our patients how to best look after their teeth.
